This magnificent chateau and its beautiful park for your exclusive use, to host perhaps your Directors' Convention, end of year business celebrations, a family reunion, the possibilities are endless!


The exclusive hire of the Chateau includes:

The Chateau (18 beds, 21 people) :

  • 3 double rooms
  • 7 twin rooms (can be used as double rooms)
  • 1 single room

Au Fruitier (11 beds) :

  • 5 twin rooms (can be used as double rooms)
  • 1 double room
  • Additional beds may be added for a supplement of 30 €/per bed

High Season : From 15 April to 1 October the Chateau may be hired exclusively for two days, from the Friday evening until the Sunday afternoon. Please contact us for the price based on half-board for 32 people.

This price includes : The Chateau bedrooms for the Friday and Saturday nights, breakfast and dinner for 32 people included. The Reception Rooms in the Chateau will be at your disposition: The Gallery, the Grand Salon, the Green Salon and the Dining Room.

Example of a proposed itinerary for a group

(Max 18 people)

From 4pm onwards: arrival by TGV at the Angers station from Paris Montparnasse (10 trains per day) where you will be collected by Francois de Valbray and driven to the Chateau des Briottieres in either a mini-bus or bus. On arrival at the Chateau you will be given refreshment before being shown to your rooms.

7.30 PM
An aperitif will be served in the Grand Salon

8.00 PM
Candlelit dinner : Traditional French cuisine using our own
family recipes, wine from the Loire Valley

9.00 AM
Continental Breakfast followed by a tour of the park with
Francois de Valbray.

10.30 AM
A visit to the Chateau du Plessis-Bourree situated 13kms
from Briottieres.

1.00 PM
A visit to the Chateau de Brissac where you will be welcomed by
the Marquis de Brissac. The Brissac family has lived in this Chateau for more than 500 years.
You will have lunch in the beautiful kitchens in front of a log fire
and this will be followed by a tasting of the Chateau de Brissac wines
and then a tour of this beautiful Anjou chateau - the highest chateau in all Europe.

3.00 PM
A visit to the Apocalypse Tapestry in Angers which dates from
1350. This will be followed by a short tour of Angers and a visit to
the historical part of the town.


7.00 PM
Return to Briottieres, or depart by train from Angers station
